Legal Services
My practice over the past 40 years in Arizona law has been extremely varied.
I've practiced in complex litigation, hearings and trials in state courts, federal courts, and bankruptcy courts, in private arbitrations, mediations and appeals. I also have substantial experience representing debtors, creditors, trustees and committees in Bankruptcy Court and have successfully reorganized several companies and individuals, and represented creditors.
I will work with you on your financial problems so as to avoid filing for "bankruptcy protection." If that's not possible, I have extensive experience in successfully reorganizing individuals and businesses, and representing debtors, creditors committees, and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.
I have litigated cases involving business ownership disputes, construction claims and disputes, contract interpretation and enforcement, patent enforcement, general real estate related litigation, and professional liability/malpractice of accountants, architects and lawyers.
I have drafted briefs and argued appeals to the Arizona Court of Appeals, the Arizona Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
I was a judge pro tem for the Maricopa County Superior Court, regularly presiding over settlement conferences for fifteen years. He's been hired by other lawyers to mediate their commercial disputes due to his experience as a commercial litigator, bankruptcy lawyer, and judge.
